2nd Annual Book Drive – February 2022

Our 2nd annual Regan’s Book Drive was incredible.

We teamed up with Holy Cross School in DeWitt to collect books for children at Golisano Children’s Hospital, Joslin Diabetes Center, the Upstate Pediatric Cancer Center, St. Joseph’s Health Primary Care Center Main and West, Ronald McDonald House of Central New York, and Elmcrest Children’s Center.

Thanks to the community’s heartwarming support, we collected more than 1,300 books!

Also – we were gifted three special, autographed copies of Elizabeth Howell’s book called “Chi Chi The Rescue Dog”, specifically for patients at Golisano.

We also donated almost 200 books to St. Joseph’s Health Hospital for babies born in March, Regan’s birth month. They were very special “welcome to the world”-type books. Plus, we gave them 50 books to send home to siblings, and 9 special parenting books.

Our Mission

Regan’s Acts of Kindness, Inc. is dedicated to inspiring people to practice and spread kindness. It places particular emphasis on bringing children joy and teaching them to pay it forward with gestures of empathy, gratitude, and love. Its activities foster kinder and more supportive communities. Its most significant activities include providing financial support for playground and other equipment for schools that are either public or recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as tax-exempt under Section 501©3 and gardens for parks that are either public or recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501©3 of the Internal Revenue Service.
